So when you live in Scandi-land you have to be prepared for rainy weather. Problem with that is that rain appropriate clothes usually tend to be ugly and impossible to match with decent outfits. So when I got my hands on the Tretorn red rubber boots my thoughts directly went to the Céline show.
You know Phoebe Philo really know how to dress women for real, and not for a fairy tale, so when your in doubt opt for Philo. One of my favorite color-combos is red and beige so when it came to picking a rain-proof coat naturally I went for the beige one. The coat is Tretorn x Naturkompaniet, they call it the left over project since the collection is produced from left over materials. And ironically when you dress for rain the rain proof outfits usually are left overs annó 1990 that you throw on in order not to get wet.
But now and combined with lace, your rain outfit is just as cool and up to date as you non-rainy outfits.

You know the feeling when you love a brand in theory but feel like in a costume when you wear it? ByTimo, a recently discovered Norwegian brand makes the dreamiest dresses. You know, silk, flowers, lace - the whole thing. Whenever I see them on other people I say to myself that I have to be less bitchy - more dreamy.
Today when getting ready for the ByTimo show in Oslo it was the same. I had the dreamy dress on, but then off course I had to re-do it with a negligé a t-shirt and rad boots.
Wearing ByTimo and Christina Ledang.
When one of your BFF's and inspirations in life (Elsa Ekman) releases another colleciton with Bik Bok you gotta represent! So here I am wearing what will probably become this falls must-have-knits the Marie sweater.
For indian summer this knit goes perfectly with everything lace-lingerie. Which is perfect since we've been trying to figure out how to pull off that trend ever sine Céline showed it on the catwalk for spring-summer 2016.
So my brain and my body are still recovering from Way out west. The best weekend of the year… No questions asked. Best music. Best style. Best company. Best parties.
Wearing Weekday and Dr. Martens captured by Elle Sweden.
For me fashion-wise, festivals are really the best time. Since I see everything through a fashion lense we could compare festival Way out west to fashion week. Where fashion gives me anxiety for being stiff and up tight (I always complain about fashion week, maybe I should stop going?) whereas festivals give me butterflies and I can't wait to wear all the outfits I've put togther.
What I am trying to say is that I am sooo excited for Way out West in Gothenburg and what psychedellic themes I'll manage to swing this time…
So we all know that Vetements is the only brand you need to care about right now?? (Google it) The fashion pack never had such cravings for a green track suit, throwback to the Champion träck suit annó 1998, as when Vetements showed it on the runway in Paris. Problem with this super-cool creative collective is that one piece of clothing equals my rent… I am all for the designer creativity etc but I still have to pay the rent.
What do one do? Shop Zara…
I don't know if we dreaded this or longed for it but yellow is back in our lives. I'm not gonna lie I was kind of sceptic but then I found this yellow skirt at Cos and saw one of my girlcrushes Hanna MW sporting it so I gave it a spin.
When creating this outfit (it took a while) I started by stealing my best friends husbands Knicks shirt. Then I was very etager to wear my new Rodarte x Stories sandals and thought sequins wasn't the way to go. That was exactly why I decided to try them on (you know it feels wrong then it's probably right). And voilá!
The first stop on my epic vacay tour - That officially started today is Oslo! And why this tour is epic is because I am doing my best not to read any emails and will try to stay away from Wifi-zones as much as possible. The goal is to actually be rested when coming back to Stockholm...
So while we're all getting used to having fashion rebell Vetements-founder Demna Gvasalia at head of Balenciaga, he's doing his thing over there. So you guys know what happens on the catwalk when Vetements is showing. DHL- tshirts, plastic robes and track suits all in a package that we call Ready-to-wear and happily spend more or less our entire pay checks on a t shirt or on a pair of jeans.
So in a true Gvasalia spirit this Balenciaga bag feels so normal, that's his thing, "NORMAL". Yet so expensive and so cool!
Shopper from Balenciaga.
So the best dresses right now are the slip dresses. But I don't feel really comfy wearing just the slip dress, it feels kind of slippery and a bit naked. But thanks to denim cut-offs and a cropped tee that is not a problem. Some day soon I might dare to wear it as it is, all slippery and naked, but for now I'm safe wearing it on top of an outfit.
Dress from Weekday. Yankees tee. Levi's shorts. H&M shoes. Zadig et Voltaire bag.
So vacay is coming up… Any time now! I still haven't decided where to go or what to do. Or no scratch that, I know exactly what to do, I'm gonna do absolutely nothing. But I don't know where I'm gonna do nothing.
Either way my summer dress-code is always loose dresses, lots of linen, scarves and flats. Yeah flats are the real deal during summer. And this summer the loose dresses are spelled shirt-dresses!
